Egg Free Vanilla Custard Pudding

One of your favorite dessert, which you can make without eggs. This quick and easy to make dessert then can be used in many recipes. I freeze it to enjoy as creamy Ice cream, make little more thick by adding 1 tbsp of Corn starch to use it as a pudding in triffle or serve with fruits.

Ingredients

  • Custard powder 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) – I buy from Indian grocery and it is 100% vegetarian
  • Sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
  • Half and half 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  • Butter 2 Tablespoon
  • Vanilla bean paste 1/4 Teaspoon (Optional)
  • Corn starch 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

MAKING

  • In a thick-bottomed pan, add in custard powder and sugar and mix.
  • Pour a little amount of half and half and mix well to make lump free paste.
  • Now, add in remaining half and half and mix thoroughly.
  • Place the mixture to medium – high heat and bring to a boil, while stirring continuously.
  • Add in the butter and vanilla bean paste. Mix well.
  • Turn off the stove and let it cool completely. After that place in the refrigerator to set.

SERVING

  • Serve with some fresh fruits.
