Are you confused what to gift? Let me help you guid what to get at least for the kitchen. I may not be a good person to guide for other gifts but when it comes to kitchen, I am confident to choose the right products that your loved ones will appreciate for sure.
Below is the list of Kitchen and housekeeping gift ideas. Food is the center piece of any household, then housekeeping and then the rest comes in place. So I personally think that housewives or even working moms deserve the best.
My kitchen is like a mini restaurant where I have all the necessary appliances, gadgets to cook food efficiently like a restaurant chefs. I am so proud of myself for choosing the right kitchen appliances. I always look for multi-tasking gadgets or appliances for my kitchen. And lot of people ask me how do I manage my life with so many things. Well, I have to have many hands just like all other busy people. We, human being have become so busy that we always wish if we had more hands to finish house chores. So below are some of your hands that will perform many of your chores.
#1 Pressure Cooker – Electric or Stove top:
I’ve recently moved to almost exclusively using electric pressure cookers – they fit better with my lifestyle as busy mom. I have not abolished stovetops completely from my kitchen. I still pull out a stovetop pressure cooker to test cooking times, recipes and try new techniques.

Stove top pressure cooker is still popular as well.

#2 Food Processing System:
You don’t need to worry about shelling out big bucks for processing equipment. But I would still make sure that the food processing system has many features like dough making, slicing/grating, besides common blending and chopping.

#3 Pots and Pans
Pots and pans are the part of daily cooking. If you are looking into long term investment, go for steel pots and pans. They are almost lifetime except if something happens with the handle. I have so many steel pots and pans that I have been using for almost 50 years now. My MIL used them and now I am using them. So basically you can pass onto next generations even! The one tip I would like to share here is when using stainless steel you definitely want medium heat or maybe a little less than medium high. Stainless steel does an excellent job at maintaining heat and even cooking. It’s what they’re known for. So if you crank your stove to high, your pan will get really hot really fast and it will be hard to bring it back down to a good cooking temperature. For most Indian cooking, I use little ghee along with oil so that the food do not stick to the pan.

So I covered the most basics of kitchen gift ideas.
