Skin Tightening Naturally

As we age we lose volume in our face, primarily fat. As a result skin can hang down as gravity acts on it creating droopiness, wrinkles and bands. Prior to deciding on surgery, try some of the following tips to get result naturally.
Following remedies will work if you have mild to moderate loose skin on your face, neck, arms or abdomen,
residual skin laxity after an operative procedure, If you would like an improvement in the quality of your skin or
If you are unable (or unwilling) to undergo a more invasive, surgical procedure to correct skin laxity.

Recently I started following natural ingredients to tighten my skin and I can feel the difference in my skin.

Before I discuss some remedies, let me mention first the easiest one ever. A lot of us underestimate the healing power of drinking plenty of water. Drinking plenty of water can resolve many of your health problems. Increase your water intake. Drinking a lot of water not only improves your overall health, it also will help your skin to become tighter, smoother, and look more radiant. Be sure to drink at least 6 glasses of water per day. If you can drink more than that, even better. Hydration is wonderful for your skin and certainly helps with the elasticity of such.

Finally, without any further delay, I am ready to introduce more homemade remedies to tighten skin.
1. Caster or Olive Oil Massage

Massaging your face and neck with a natural oil like caster, olive oil helps tighten loose skin to keep it firm and smooth. Olive and caster oil have antioxidants like vitamins A and E that render anti-aging benefits. It will also help keep your skin well moisturized.
Slightly warm oil in the microwave.

Apply this oil on your face, neck and the area you want your skin tighten.
Massage gently with your fingertips in circular motions for 10 minutes.
Follow this remedy once daily before going to bed.
Now, when it comes to caster oil, some people find it unpleasant. To me personally, I am totally OK with it. But you can simply mix some lavender oil or lemon juice with a small amount of castor oil.

Then, rub the mixture onto skin areas you want to tighten up.
Finally, you should apply this solution every night to see the best results.
You can also use avocado, coconut, grapeseed, jojoba or almond oil to massage your face, neck, arms and legs.
2. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera works wonders on the skin — to treat sunburn, tighten skin, and is a natural moisturizer, etc. Using aloe Vera gel can greatly reduce your saggy skin and rejuvenate it. Now, I recommend to get Aloe Vera plant or leaf to get fresh gel and not the commercially derived gel to get the best effective result.
Take an aloe Vera leaf, break it and extract the gel, apply it directly to the skin and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Follow this several times a week.

4. Lemons

Collagen is a known skin tightener. Vitamin C in lemons helps boost collagen production in your body reducing wrinkles and subsequently tightening your skin.
It’s as simple as applying lemon juice to your body and rubbing it in affected areas. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with water. For maximum results do this two to three times a day and follow-up with a good moisturizer.

5. Cucumber

Massage gently in upward circular motion for 10 minutes. Wash off with water. Using cucumber regularly will reduce wrinkles, dark circles and brighten your skin tone.

6. Banana:

Banana is rich in iron. Mashed, ripe bananas can be used in skin tightening. Mash a ripe banana and apply this all over your face and neck. You can also squeeze few drops of lemon to the mashed banana. Keep it on face for about 15 minutes and then wash off with water. Use this pack twice a week for best results.

7. Yogurt:

Yogurt face mask is widely used as a natural remedy to tighten saggy skin. Take 2 table spoons of yogurt and mix it with few drops of lime juice. Apply this mixture on your face. Massage for 10 minutes and leave on for another 5 minutes. Wash it off with water. Using this mask regularly helps to tighten skin and imparts natural glow to the face.

8. Green Tea:

Green tea has many health benefits. More and more people are consuming green tea to stay fit. Green tea helps in detoxification of skin. Green tea is rich in antioxidants that boost collagen production naturally and thus gives a tighter, wrinkle free skin.

9. Avocado:

Avocado helps to tighten skin and reduce double chin. Avocado is moisturizing in nature. Make avocado paste and mix it with 2 table spoons of yogurt. Apply this mixture to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with water. Pat your face dry. Use this mask once in a while to get wrinkle free, firmer skin.

10. Use Papaya:
Papaya has useful enzymes like papain, which helps to tighten sagging skin. Cut papaya into small pieces and blend it in a blender. To this, add rice flour and mix well. Apply this mixture to your skin. Gently rub in upward circular motions. Do this for 15 minutes and then wash off with water. Use this scrub twice a week to get tighter skin.

11. Gram Flour(Besan AKA Chickpea or Garbanzo Beans Flour)
I certainly do not recommend gram flour alone to tighten skin because gram flour can make skin dry. So I suggest to prepare the following mask to get perfect even result. This mask will help to brighten your skin immediately as well.
You will need:
1 spoon of besan (gram flour).
1 spoon of powdered oats.
1 spoon of honey.
Rose water if available.
Direction
Mix above all ingredients and prepare thick paste. Apply on face and neck. Keep the mask on for about 15 minutes. Rinse out with cold water.

12. Egg Whites:
Egg whites are rich in protein and can improve skin’s elasticity to a great extent. Take an egg white and mix it with 2 table spoons of honey. Apply this mask to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with water after this. It is recommended to use this face mask thrice a month for a tighter skin. This is one of the sure shot home remedies for tightening skin.
