Dabeli grama masala(see below for Dabeli garam masala recipe)
1small onion chopped finely
2tbsproasted peanuts
Pinch of hing(asafetida powder)
Little bit butter to toast the buns.
Garlic Chutney(Recipe is added separately. Check in the Chutny section)
Tamarind, Date chutney (Recipe is added separately. Check in the Chutnies section)
3tbspof pomegranate seeds(Optional. I haven't use them in video since not available.)
Sev for garnishing.
Salt to taste
Instructions
Take mashed potato in medium size bowl.
Add Dabeli masala, ketchup, hing and salt. Mix very well and keep on side.
Preheat toaster. Once the toaster is hot place buns spreaded with butter or margerin. Toast them till golden brown.
Now take a bottom of pav/bun. Spread 1 tsp of garlic chutney, 2tbsp of potato filling/curry, anardana ,chopped onions, 5-6 peanuts. Sprinkle some sev. Cover with top part and cut them into 4 wadges.
I also again smere some chutneys on top and sprinkle sev again and plate looks awesome.
Prepare all the buns the way it is explained above. Garnish the buns with Sev and pomegranate seeds. Pour 1tsp of tamarind-date chutney to decorate
This is very delicious and it fills your stomach. Nice snack anytime.
If you don't have the Dabeli Garam Masala, here is
Dabeli Masala Powder recipe:
Ingredients:
1tbsp of Coriander seeds
1/2 tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
2 Red chilies (U can reduce as per the spice level)
1/2 inch cinnamon Stick
2 cloves
Roast the above ingredients and make it like a powder in a blender. Keep it aside this is used in the filling.
