Yogurt, as we all know is chock full of protein, calcium, vitamins, probiotics (the healthy bacteria that helps digestion) and is great for breakfast, can also be eaten as a healthy snack. But do you know yogurt is good for your skin as well? Just be sure to use plain organic yogurt without additives.

Yogurt is a good source of lactic acid – highly valuable acid that revitalize skin, provides smoothness to the skin and controls aging too. It’s an all-around beauty multi-tasker that fights acne and pimples, restricts premature aging, relieves sunburn, reduces discoloration and keeps your skin glowing and youthful. Yogurt for skin has been used since ancient times.

1. Soothes Sunburns

Sunburns are caused by the UV rays of the sun. It damages the skin, resulting in redness and sometimes, blisters. Using yogurt topically can help heal the sunburned areas. Applying yogurt to sunburned areas cools it down. This is because it is rich in zinc and has anti-inflammatory properties.

2. Treats Dandruff
Dandruff is a common problem, but which can be avoided with the topical use of yogurt. It also help to reduce hair fall.
What You Need
½ cup yogurt
What You Have To Do
Massage the yogurt into your scalp.
Let it rest for 20 minutes, and rinse with a mild shampoo.
