One of your favorite dessert, which you can make without eggs. This quick and easy to make dessert then can be used in many recipes. I freeze it to enjoy as creamy Ice cream, make little more thick by adding 1 tbsp of Corn starch to use it as a pudding in triffle or serve with fruits.
Egg Free Vanilla Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- Custard powder 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) - I buy from Indian grocery and it is 100% vegetarian
- Sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
- Half and half 3 Cup (48 tbs)
- Butter 2 Tablespoon
- Vanilla bean paste 1/4 Teaspoon (Optional)
- Corn starch 1 Tablespoon
Instructions
MAKING
- In a thick-bottomed pan, add in custard powder and sugar and mix.
- Pour a little amount of half and half and mix well to make lump free paste.
- Now, add in remaining half and half and mix thoroughly.
- Place the mixture to medium – high heat and bring to a boil, while stirring continuously.
- Add in the butter and vanilla bean paste. Mix well.
- Turn off the stove and let it cool completely. After that place in the refrigerator to set.
SERVING
- Serve with some fresh fruits.
