The Best Almond Flax Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Best Eggless chocolate chip cookies recipe made with Almond & Flax Meal to healthy-fy and the flavor of 100% maple syrup gives the great taste to these cookies. – easy to make best chocolate chip cookies without egg. This simple, easy and effortless recipe will have you making these cookies almost every week. A great snack or even served with ice cream as desserts, And they make perfect edible food gifts for family and friends.
To prepare this recipe, I start with flax egg.
Below is the list of Ingredients needed to prepare the cookie dough:
1/2 cup butter (1 stick) or margerine melted – I use unsalted melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour (I use 1 cup wheat flour and 1/2 cup almond meal)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla or 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
1 tbsp 100% maple syrup or other favorite syrup of your choice or leave out
1 flax egg or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or 1 large egg+1 yolks
1 cup chocolate chips (or more):)
A pinch of salt
Directions to prepare the cookies: The Dough should not be crumbly for this recipe.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Mix the butter with white and brown sugars for 1 to 2 minutes, until creamy. Add flax egg, maple syrup, vanilla and mix.
Add in flour, salt and baking soda. Mix.
Fold in the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon.
Drop by spoonful onto the baking sheet. I usually do about 1-2 tablespoons and put 12-16 on the cookie sheet. Here are the ones I have and I LOVE them!
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
