Aloo Paneer Rings
Ingredients
FOR THE MIXTURE
- Potato 1 Large , steamed, peeled and mashed
- Bread slices 4
- Shredded cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
- Finely chopped onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
- Coriander leaves 2 Tablespoon , finely chopped
- Grated ginger 1 Teaspoon
- Grated garlic 1 Teaspoon
- Minced green chili 1 Teaspoon
- Garam masala 1/4 Teaspoon (to taste)
- Caraway seeds 1 Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1 Pinch
- Fresh lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
- Salt To Taste
FOR BATTER
- Corn starch 2 Tablespoon
- Salt To Taste
- Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (as needed)
FOR FRYING
- Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)
Instructions
MAKING
- For the mixture – in a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients. Divide the mixture into small portions and give donut like shape. Set aside.
- For the batter – in a small owl, add in cornstarch and gradually pour in the water; mixing continuously.
- In a deep pan, heat the oil and dip the donut balls into cornstarch mixture and deep fry until golden brown.
SERVING
- Serve with green chutney.
