Commonly consumed by Gujaratis, Khichdi is declared as a national food by the government. This is a dish which is nutritious with its contents and healthy in flavours. This is a combination of rice, cereals, vegetables, and ghee. It can be consumed with curd or buttermilk.
There are few ways to sprout legumes – beans & lentils. Jar sprouting is one of them, beans sprouts baskets are available as well. But I have been following my old school method to sprout beans.
Aloo Chana Masala can be made dry or with gravy. Cauliflower (Gobi) can be added to this recipes as well. You won’t believe how easy quick it is to put this meal together…I use pressure cooker to prepare the Sabji, saves lot of time. For this recipe soak chick peas overnight and then use in recipe. You can make this recipe curry kind or sabji like as I prepare.
